Firm and association donate to new salvation army center

Representatives of New Jersey and Philadelphia accounting firm Alloy, Silverstein, Shapiro, Adams, Mulford, Cicalese, Wilson & Co. joined fellow members of the South Jersey Young Professionals Association to present a $90,000 check to the Salvation Army for its new Ray and Joan Kroc Center.

The facility is under construction and expected to open in late 2012. It will provide recreational, educational and cultural programs to the local community.

The donation came from 100 percent of the proceeds raised at the Alloy Silverstein-sponsored second annual Halo Ball Feb. 12.
