Firms see red in solidarity with American Heart Association

Two New York tri-state area firms wore red this month to support and raise money for the American Heart Association.

As part of the organization’s “Go Red for Women” campaign, employees of Teal, Becker & Chiaramonte in Albany, N.Y., and Fazio, Mannuzza, Roche, Tankel, LaPilusa of Cranford, N.J. (both pictured below), donned the color and made a monetary contribution to the American Heart Association on National Wear Red Day, Feb. 4.

"Our firm is dedicated to helping a wide range of charitable organizations, both locally here in the Capital District and nationally,” said Robert H. Kind, managing partner of Teal, Becker & Chiaramonte, in a statement. “We are proud to support the American Heart Association. The decision to participate in the Go Red for Women Day was a great way for our company to raise awareness about heart disease and to take action through a donation to the cause.”

At Fazio, Mannuzza, Roche, Tankel, LaPilusa, employees wore red in exchange for a $5 donation, eventually raising $500 to help the association fund research, education and advocacy programs to fight heart disease.
