Meaden & Moore announce partnership with LBC International

Cleveland-based firm Meaden & Moore LLP has announced a partnership with Canadian-based LBC International, Ltd., creating the new partnership Meaden & Moore International LLP (MMI), which will combine LBC's London office with Meaden & Moore's UK subsidiary.

The two firms have both provided forensic accounting and litigation support services to insurance providers, legal counsel and government agencies, paving the way for the collaboration. Both firms also specialize in measuring the value of economic damages in legal disputes, insurance claims and business valuations.

“The more we talked, the more it became apparent that our similar cultures, values and approach to client service could be leveraged to create a larger organization with the experience and resources to meet the demanding global needs of our clients,” said James P. Carulas, CEO of Meaden & Moore, in a statement.

The London office will be managed by John Andrew and Oliver Tiemann. The branch will look to expand the firms’ abilities to work with their UK and European based clients, as well as positioning both Meaden & Moore and LBC to more readily meet the global needs of their North American-based clients.

“For some time we have been exploring opportunities to expand our forensic accounting and litigation support service offerings and effectively meet the global needs of our clients while maintaining our commitment to quality and attentive client service.  Our partnership and collaboration with Meaden & Moore achieves this goal,” stated Art Lavigne, managing partner of LBC International.

LBC has additional offices in Montreal, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver, as well as international offices in London and Paris. Meaden & Moore holds domestic offices in Boston, Chicago, New York and Los Angeles.
