60 firms to compete in CBIZ's second annual 'Private Equity Golf Championship'

CBIZ Inc., one of the largest national accounting and professional services providers, will host representatives from more than 60 private equity firms at its second annual Private Equity Golf Championship on July 14 at the prestigious Winged Foot Golf Club in Mamaroneck, NY.

CBIZ‘s Private Equity Practice is sponsoring the championship, designed to be a competition among dealmakers from well-known large and mid-sized private equity firms. The top players in the two overall categories of gross score and net score will receive awards and recognition and be crowned the best private equity golfers.

“We are thrilled to be holding this event again this year with an increased number of private equity firms represented,” stated Jeffrey Gluck, senior managing director, CBIZ New York. “To further demonstrate our national commitment to this industry, we expanded our reach to dealmakers from Boston and Philadelphia-based firms, offering a wider range of networking among private equity peers and a chance to compete in a fun and friendly atmosphere.”

Players are invited to participate in hole-in-one contests sponsored by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars NA, awarding a 2015 Wraith luxury vehicle, and NetJets, the private aviation company, awarding flying time on their private jets. Additional corporate sponsors of the event include Accordion Partners, a private equity consulting firm, and The Hermitage Club at Haystack Mountain, a private ski club in Southern Vermont.
