BDO, EY, KPMG, PwC amongst the 'Top 60 Companies for Executive Women' in 2016

A number of the nation’s leading accounting and consulting firms have been named amongst the 2016 “NAFETop Companies for Executive Women” by theNational Association for Female Executives (NAFE).

The award recognizes American corporations that have moved women into their top executive positions and created a culture that helps further the careers of talented women. Concerning accounting and finance firms, BDO, EY, Grant Thornton, KPMG, Moss Adams, and PwC were amongst those named. Accenture, Cisco, IBM, and Procter & Gamble were also recognized for their efforts.  

“I am happy to report that female representation in senior management positions continues to inch up at the NAFE Top Companies,” stated Dr. Betty Spence, president of NAFE. “Though progress of women into senior positions has slowed nationally, the 2016 NAFE Top Companies are leading the way in moving women in power positions where they have the influence to innovate and boost profits.”

The 2016 NAFE Top Companies application includes approximately 200 questions on female representation at all levels in a business, especially the corporate officer ranks. In order to be eligible for the NAFE Top Companies survey, entrants must have a minimum of 1,000 employees, include two women on the Board of Directors, and be a public or private company.
