NJCPA announces “30 Under 30” list of young professionals

The New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA) is announced its “30 Under 30” list on Tuesday, consisting of 30 accounting professionals and NJCPA members making a name for themselves in the New Jersey accounting landscape and beyond.

The group was selected based on a combination of Society participation, accounting profession involvement and community service dedication.

“I was beyond excited to learn that I was part of the NJCPA 30 Under 30. Being recognized is a wonderful feeling,” said Lauryn Hanrahan of XO Group, Inc, in a statement. “And it's really important to acknowledge young CPAs because they’re the driving force behind future growth in the profession.”

“These practitioners have had a major impact in a relatively short period of time,” stated Ralph Thomas, NJCPA Chief Executive Officer. “And it’s a wonderfully diverse group. They come from different backgrounds, parts of the state and types of companies. We look forward to watching their careers soar through the years.”

“It’s important for the younger generation to stand out both professionally, as well as throughout the community, and for future CPAs to see the possibilities for great opportunities at a young age,” stated Stephen Weiss of Untracht Early.

The honorees will be featured in the September/October issue of New Jersey CPA magazine and acknowledged in social media and at the Society’s Career Development Conference on November 4 in Iselin.
