Whitley Penn pledges monthly support to Texas food bank

Texas firmWhitley Pennrecently announced their monthly support to theTarrant Area Food Bankduring 2016 by providing volunteers to assist with sorting, inspecting and boxing food for Children’s Feeding Programs.

Since the firm’s inception in 1983, Whitley Penn has sought to give back to the Fort Worth community through service projects, monetary donations and by supporting professionals who serve within non-profit organizations. The Tarrant Area Food Bank provides support for more than 13 counties and a large impact in the lives of Dallas-Fort Worth area. Whitley Penn has supported the Tarrant Area Food Bank since 2010 with volunteer hours, monetary donations and annual food drives.

“I admire the work and mission of the Tarrant Area Food Bank. Not only is this great opportunity for us to help out in the community, but it also provides a sense of camaraderie within employees and we get to have a little fun in the process,” said Ronnie Craven, assistant controller at Whitley Penn, in a statement.

“Whitley Penn is honored to be able to give back to the community and contribute volunteer hours that help the Tarrant Area Food Bank provide more than two million meals on a monthly basis,” stated Jim Penn, CFO and founder of Whitley Penn.
