Milton High School in Wisconsin has received a $2,150 grant from the
"We are very grateful to the WICPA for their generosity in awarding this grant, as it is a great tool to help students identify the many career paths that a degree in accounting can provide," stated Amy Kenyon, Milton High School's school-to-work coordinator and recipient of the grant.
The school utilized the grant towards its annual “Reality Check” event - an interactive learning day with local businesses. The grant will also help fund a field trip to the Federal Reserve Bank in Chicago, where students will learn about careers in accounting.
"WICPA's grant award is yet another example of our staff working hard to search out and obtain extra financial resources that will provide meaningful learning opportunities for our students,” said Principal Jeremy Bilhorn in the release. “I am grateful to both the WICPA and our staff, who, together, help to provide for some of the exceptional learning experiences that our Milton High School students get to enjoy."
