NSA Scholarship Foundation calls for 2013-14 applicants

The National Society of Accountants Scholarship Foundation is now accepting undergraduate applicants for its 2013-14 program.

U.S. and Canadian citizens enrolled in part-time or full-time degree programs at an accredited two or four-year college or university in the United States who have at least a “B” (3.0 on a 4.0 scale) grade point average are encouraged to apply.

Applicants are judged on academic record, demonstrated leadership, participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, statement of goals, and an outside appraisal.

Scholarship awards range from $500-2,000 depending on available funding. Last year, the NSA Scholarship Foundation bestowed 32 scholarships totaling $30,000.

Applications for 2013-14 must be postmarked by March 10, 2013 sent to Scholarship Management Services, a division of Scholarship America. Guidelines and additional information is available here.
