OSCPA opens "Me in a Moment" student video contest

The Ohio Society of CPAs is urging accounting students to express themselves for a chance to win its “Me in a Moment” video contest.

Starting April 1, the OSCPA has been challenging students to show their passions outside of the classroom by completing, via video submission, the phrase “I can’t wait to be a CPA! But when I’m not studying you can find me…”

“OSCPA loves learning about and supporting our future CPAs,” stated vice president of academic & career awareness Karen West. “We hope ‘Me in a Moment’ will show just how well-rounded accounting students are.”

Video entries must be under 30 seconds in length and submitted to Rebecca Hixen at rhixen@ohio-cpa.com. Those that most creatively demonstrate the students’ extracurricular interests will be posted on the Ohio Young CPAs' Facebook page, where they will be judged from May 1-15 based on originality, creativity and the amount of Facebook “likes” they garner.

Three winners, announced in May, will receive a $50 Visa gift card and a free Becker CPA Review course, valued at $3,315.
