TSCPA promotes financial literacy month with online videos

To celebrate April as Financial Literacy Month, the Texas Society of CPAs uploaded a series of personal finance videos online.

The videos are featured on the TSCPA consumer website www.ValueYourMoney.org, which provides personal finance information for the life stages of childhood, high school, college, parenthood and life crisis. The site also offers resources like activity sheets, budgeting worksheets, pet ownership forms, nine-month planning guides for expectant parents and a link to the Texans for Financial Literacy Facebook group page.

TSCPA also posted “30 Family Finance Tips for 30 Days in April” and listed low-cost and free summer savings activities in English and Spanish.

TSCPA has 20 state chapters of more than 29,000 members.
