WNDE partner receives National Service to Youth Award

Kenneth Ames, tax advisory partner with southern California CPA firm White Nelson Diehl Evans, received a National Service to Youth Award from the California Boys & Girls Club of America for his 10 years of service on the Carlsbad club’s board of directors.

In conjunction with the award, Ames also received a certificate of recognition from the City of Carlsbad.

“I’m honored to receive this award, and I’m pleased to participate in the Boys & Girls Club’s mission,” stated Ames. “It is a worthy charity that not only helps kids today, but also influences in a positive way the people who hold our future in their hands.”

In his role on the board, Ames assists the club with its fundraising efforts, to which many WNDE employees contribute.

“The Club plays an important role for families; it gives children a positive place to go to engage in sports, play on the playground, do their homework or just meet their friends,” Ames said.

An employee of WNDE for 11 years, Ames works out of the firm’s Carlsbad and Escondido offices.
