Ascend, a networking organization for Pan-Asian accounting and finance professionals, ushered in the Year of the Tiger last Friday evening in New York.
The event featured performances by dancers representing some of the different ethnic groups in China, along with Asian food of various types, and raffle prizes like Deloitte-branded towels. The event was originally supposed to take place at Deloittes offices on Broadway, but had to be moved to a larger space in the World Financial Center after hundreds of people registered to attend.
