New Jersey CPAs Offer Twitter Tips on YouTube

The New Jersey Society of CPAs has decided to address the social media trend by giving its members advice on how to leverage Twitter with the help of a slightly older but equally popular Web medium, YouTube.

The NJSCPA has launched "Twitter Tuesday Tips," a series of YouTube videos that provide helpful hints on such practical topics as “Picking a Twitter Handle and Photo” and “Finding People to Follow on Twitter.” Subsequent series will focus on LinkedIn, Facebook and other social media sites. It’s not clear yet if those video series will be named after other days of the week on which they premiere.

[IMGCAP(1)]Each episode is brief and to the point, lasting just over a minute, almost like the 140-character limit on tweets. The videos are presented by social media veterans Rachael Bell, the manager of digital communications at the NJSCPA, and Don Meyer, the NJSCPA’s director of communications and marketing.
