Tea Party Movement Proliferated July 4

Tea party protests sprang up across the country July 4. While some were small, others attracted a wide and diverse crowd. Some have dismissed the movement as being largely manufactured by Fox News, but the movement seems to be taking on a life of its own. Some of the signage at the rallies has been unfortunate, but the movement can't just be dismissed as a fringe group thing.

Dissatisfaction with taxes, the state of the economy and the efforts of the government seem to be coalescing at the same time. For an interesting article on a rally in Morristown, N.J., check out this story from Mark Dionno of the Star-Ledger.
