Pick Your Business Partner: Kim K. or Oprah?

Editor's Note: Please be aware that this is not in any way to be construed as a news story. Save yourself while you still can.

In the category of "Some People Have Too Much Time on Their Hands," we'll offer the results of a recent survey of global small-business owners by cloud accounting developer Xero, on the crucial topic of which celebrity entrepreneur they most want to work with.

While we here at Debits & Credits would have voted for Walter White (with full acknowledgement that he's fictional, which has interesting tax ramifications), the small-business owners picked Oprah Winfrey by a mile (if a mile is 39.7% of the vote). Gwyneth Paltrow stumbled in with a pathetic 12.9%, just barely edging out Mark Cuban. Kate Hudson, who we did not know counted as either a celebrity or an entrepreneur, took fourth, ahead of actual entrepreneur Stella McCartney.

Thankfully, Kim Kardashian was down at the bottom of the list.

Taking the results strictly by country, Mark Cuban beat out Oprah here in the U.S., 37.2% to 34%, and then together they wiped the floor with Gwyneth Paltrow, at 11.2%.

Once again proving that there is a God, Kim Kardashian came in last.

She did, however, come in a resounding first in the "Who do you admire least?" poll, with 56%, followed by Donald Trump (27%).

The poll was conducted, tongue firmly in cheek, by Xero in honor of World Entrepreneur Day.
