Pricing, Billing & Collecting Fees for Individual Tax Returns
Near and dear to every practitioner, besides performing great service, is getting paid. This seminar will show you how to determine fees for tax returns, when and how to increase fees for long time clients, charge for extras, time the billing and ask for payment. We will also cover how you explain what you’ve done in the terms of benefit and value to the client so you get paid what you should, and how to bill extra work for one year and not have the client think that that will also be next year’s fee. Twelve billing methods (including reverse value billing) and the use of a fee schedule will also be discussed. Also covered will be charging for tax notices and audits. Planting seeds for cross selling opportunities will also be illustrated.
