Tim Wilson has been promoted to national industry partner at BKD LLP’s National Construction & Real Estate Group.
Wilson will lead nearly 160 professionals who serve more than 2,600 clients in the construction, real estate, architecture and engineering industries.
“Our C&RE practice has focused on developing our expertise to serve a wide variety of construction and real estate clients as they continue to navigate struggling markets,” Wilson said in a statement. “I truly believe we are well-positioned to assist these companies by connecting BKD resources with client needs.”
Prior to his new role, Wilson was the national industry leader for BKD’s North Region, which covers, Colorado, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska.
Wilson succeeds Jerry Henderson who was named national industry partner at the firm’s National Manufacturing & Distribution Group.
Wilson has more than 25 years of experience conducting audits, accounting, tax and management consulting services in various industries. In addition to his daily duties at BKD, Wilsion serves as a member of the Associated General Contractors and the Construction Financial Management Association.
