Charles “Sandy” Kennedy Jr. joins G.T. Reilly & Co. as vice president and director of tax services.

Kennedy was actually part of the G.T. Reilly team in the 1980s where he held the title of partner. He later ventured off to establish a firm of his own in Hingham, Mass. Kennedy ran his practice for 26 years and is now merging it into G.T. Reilly.
“Sandy Kennedy brings tremendous depth and a wealth of experience to our tax department,” managing director, Anthony Smeriglio, said in a statement. “It’s great to have him back at the firm.”
Kennedy provided tax counsel, business consulting and business valuation services to privately-held companies in a wide variety of industries throughout his career.
Kennedy got his start in the accounting profession in a Boston CPA firm. His career led him into an executive position within the tax department at Peat Marwick Mitchell which took him out to San Jose, Calif. He later returned to Boston where he worked at Price Waterhouse, before there was a PwC.
