Hogan Taylor Selects Harjo as Partner

Jeff Harjo has joined Hogan Taylor as partner and will lead the firm’s financial institution practice. 

Harjo has more than 25 years of experience in risk management, internal controls, audit and compliance services.

Prior to Hogan Taylor, Harjo spent nine years at BOK Financial Corporation as chief risk officer and chief auditor. While at BOK, Harjo created Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls, developed the “Compliance First” program and guided the implementation of Dodd-Frank financial reforms. He also represented the bank and its peers in financial institution advocacy efforts in Washington, D.C.

Prior to BOK Financial, Harjo was a director of finance and human resources for AFN LLC, a telecommunications joint venture of several public energy companies.

Harjo spent the first fifteen years of his career at KPMG, LLP, where he was director of assurance services.

Harjo is a member of the AICPA, Oklahoma Society of CPAs, the American Bankers Association, and the Oklahoma Bankers Association. He earned his BS in Accounting from Oklahoma State University.
