KPMG Appoints New CIO

Harry Moseley has joined KPMG LLP as the firm’s chief information officer. Moseley succeeds Richard Anderson, who is retiring.

Moseley’s technology career spans more than 30 years and has been primarily focused within the financial services industry. Prior to KPMG, Moseley was the CIO of the global investment and advisory firm, The Blackstone Group.

“Harry will play a critical role in advancing our development of a world-class technology platform that enhances our client service delivery and serves as a model for how we can help clients transform their own businesses,” John Veihmeyer, chairman and CEO of KPMG, said in a statement.

 “I’m excited to be joining a premier business organization that has a well-established reputation for helping its clients embrace change, manage risks and grow in a dynamic and challenging economic environment,” Moseley said. “Technology plays a crucial role in operational efficiency and client service, and I look forward to developing a roadmap for KPMG that allows us to achieve our business objectives and better serve our clients.

Moseley will work side by side with KPMG’s management committee and business leaders on all aspects of the firm’s technology platform and capabilities, including internal support and client-facing technology service offerings. He will lead the firm’s information technology services group and work to maximize existing and future technology investments.

Moseley earned his BA/BAI degree in engineering, mathematics and computer science from Trinity College Dublin. He is an honorary trustee of the New York City chapter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. He was the founder and former captain of the Blackstone Bike Team in support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
