LBMC Appoints New Partner-in-Charge in Knoxville

John Bailes has been tapped to serve as partner-in-charge in Lattimore Black Morgan & Cain PC's Knoxville office.

Bailes works closely with small businesses, including financial reporting, tax planning and compliance and general consulting.  He has diversified experience across industry lines including real estate, medical practices, construction, transaction planning and individual tax services.

Bailes, who is a member of the AICPA and the Tennessee Society of CPAs, will guide the continued growth of the firm’s accounting services division for the Knoxville office. The division is the main hub for LBMCWorks, a bundled business services program for small business.  It provides accounting services including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, financial statements and consulting. LBMC Knoxville’s accounting services department has a dedicated team of seven professionals.

“In a dynamic and growing area of our firm, John’s extensive experience in working with small businesses and dedication to client satisfaction will provide continued fuel for growth in this department,” LBMC Knoxville’s managing partner Greg Gilbert said in a statement.  “LBMC is in a unique position to offer not only what a small business needs today, but we can continue to meet their needs as they grow.”
