January 26, 2012

By daniel Hood

Kathy Mitts, CPA, has been named managing principal of the Cincinnati office of Top 100 Firm Joseph Decosimo and Co. LLP.

Kathy Mitts

Mitts succeeds Paul Cheney, CPA, who founded the office in 1985, and will now serve as senior principal in the office and focus on business development and corporate finance services for clients.

"Kathy has played an active role in the management of our Cincinnati office since joining the firm in 2003," said firmwide managing principal Nick Decosimo.  "Having Kathy succeed Paul Cheney as the office's managing principal was a natural progression and will allow for continuity in leadership and assure a smooth transition while Paul remains an active principal with the firm."
