ParenteBeard Hires New Principal

Edward Rigby joins the firm’s tax services practice in Clark N.J.

Edward Rigby has joined the tax services practice at ParenteBeard LLC as principal. Rigby will work out of the firm’s Clark, N.J. office.

“The specialized skills that Ed brings to ParenteBeard will enhance the experience and knowledge of our tax services practice,” said chairman and CEO Bob Ciaruffoli, in a statement.  “The addition of Ed to our principal team is a reflection of our continued commitment to expand the depth of services and strategic solutions we offer to our clients.”

Rigby has more than 19 years in the profession. His career path led him to work as a head tax advisor for companies within the pharmaceutical, orthopedics manufacturing and financial services industries. Rigby has developed specific expertise and knowledge in corporate mergers and acquisitions and structuring joint ventures.

He is also known in the accounting profession as a negotiator with various taxing authorities including the IRS.

Prior to joining ParenteBeard, Rigby owned a high level tax consulting practice in New Jersey, where he advised high net worth clients and privately held businesses.
