“I am extremely excited to be home in my native state of Wisconsin and to lead Schenck through its next stage of evolution,” Barber said in a statement. “Schenck has a great reputation with strong brand recognition in the Wisconsin business community. We have a great opportunity to build upon our core accounting and tax services as well as expand the depth and breadth of our advisory services as we continue to provide proactive advice to our clients in both existing and new markets.”

“Greg understands the markets we serve and those we want to expand into,” Goodman added. “Greg’s firsthand knowledge of our profession and significant experience in building practices while focusing on engaging and developing people, position him well as Schenck’s future leader.”

Barber has more than 30 years of experience in the public accounting profession. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and has been active in a variety of community and professional organizations throughout his career. He is also a member of the AICPA and the Wisconsin Institute of CPAs.
