William Vohsing was tapped to serve as state and local tax (SALT) director at the Top 100 Firm, Schneider Downs & Co., Inc.

Vohsing has more than 30 years in the accounting profession. He’s worked on multi-state sales and use tax matters, which includes audit defense, refund reviews, nexus reviews, taxability analysis, direct pay permits and voluntary disclosure agreements. He assisted clients within the manufacturing, retail, banking, insurance, health care and public utility sectors. Vohsing will help the firm attain new clients in those industries.

Prior to joining Schneider Downs, Vohsing spent 18 years at Ernst & Young LLP where he worked as an executive director.
