Wong Joins BDO Consulting

Pei-Li Wong has joined BDO Consulting to head the firm's Asia Forensic Desk, based in New York City.

In her new role Wong will lead anti-corruption investigations, due diligence and compliance engagements involving Asian businesses.

"We're very pleased to bring Pei-Li on board as the new head of our Asia Forensic Desk," said executive director Carl Pergola, who leads of BDO's international forensic services. "Her considerable experience working across Asia strengthens BDO's international forensic services in this important market and enhances our ability to address the rapidly changing anti-corruption landscape in this region."

Prior to joining BDO, Wong worked at Big Four firms PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she conducted investigations in Asia, Europe and Latin America, and Ernst & Young.

"Pei-Li has a significant depth of experience in conducting Foreign Corrupt Practices Act investigations, risk assessments and compliance reviews for multinational organizations around the world," said Glenn Pomerantz, a partner and co-head of BDO Consulting's anti-corruption practice. "She brings a global perspective that fits well with BDO's international focus."

Wong is a Certified Public Accountant in Singapore and Australia. She holds a Bachelor's in Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, and an MBA from the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Rochester.
