Baker Newman Noyes Taps Veilleux as Managing Principal of New Hampshire Offices

Jeremy Veilleux moves up to managing prinicpal of the Manchester and Portsmouth, N.H.-based offices of Baker Newman Noyes.

Veilleux has been a member of the firm since its founding in 1995. In his new role, Veilleux will be a part of the firm's management committee that oversees strategic growth of the firm. He will also lead in recruiting efforts for the firm.

“I look forward to the future of Baker Newman Noyes as we embark on our 15th anniversary serving Manchester, Portsmouth, and the surrounding communities,” Veilleux said in a statement. “We see the current business climate, as challenging as it is, as an opportunity to bring fresh ideas and creative solutions to our clients.”

As a member of the health care, banking, not-for-profit and commercial practice groups, Veilleux focuses on proactively identifying and communicating critical business, regulatory and accounting solutions for his clients, helping them to improve efficiency, while reducing operational costs and risk.

Veilleux succeeds Karl Heafield, who managed the offices from 2009-2013, during which time the firm realized a significant growth in personnel. Heafield will continue in his role as principal, specializing in serving as a tax advisor to commercial enterprises and their owners.

“A big thank you goes to my colleague Karl Heafield for his guidance and support. I look forward to working with Karl and the rest of the team in New Hampshire to help take the firm to the next level,” Veilleux stated.

Veilleux is a member of numerous professional groups, and is also an active board member to several New Hampshire organizations, including the Granite United Way and the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.
