Terry Knause has joined Scott & Co. LLC as partner.
Prior to Scott & Co. Knause was an audit partner at Deloitte & Touche LLP for more than 20 years. He has experience in mergers and acquisitions of private and publicly traded companies.
Knause, who also serves as a senior lecturer for Clemson University on a range of accounting topics, will provide a wide-range of accounting and auditing services to companies primarily concentrated in the manufacturing, food processing, retail, restaurant, and distribution/wholesale industries.
A licensed certified public accountant and native of New Berlin, Pennsylvania, Knause holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from York College of Pennsylvania and a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Clemson University. He began his career in the Baltimore office of Deloitte & Touche before moving to Greenville, S.C. full-time in 1990. He is an active member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the South Carolina Association of Public Accountants.
