Whitley Penn Hires Grasher as Tax Partner

Chris Grasher has joined Whitley Penn as a tax partner in the firm’s Fort Worth office.

Prior to Whitley Penn, Grasher was a partner at Ernst & Young LLP, where he held a number of positions over the course of 38 years.

He worked as a coordinating partner and tax account leader of multinational accounts where he was responsible for managing a client base of Fortune 1000 companies and tax provision work papers of audit clients for Fortune 500 SEC registrants.

Grasher also served Ernst & Young LLP as managing partner of the Charlotte office and director of tax for the Carolinas area, where he managed 150 tax professionals in four geographical locations.
Grasher brings extensive knowledge in the areas of fixed asset capitalization practices, tax technology tools, state, local and international tax planning, and assisting high net worth individuals with estate and life insurance planning. Throughout his career, he has gained Global experience in Western and Central Europe, the Americas and Pacific Rim including China.
Grasher is a CPA in Texas and is active in the local community where he has served on the Finance Committee of the Dallas United Way and Dallas National Golf Club.
