The annual Fortune magazine list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For includes a handful of accounting firms among the rankings for 2014.

Among them is Plante Moran, which moved up two spots from last year’s list to 23 this year. The firm announced that this was the 16th year in a row that it was on the list.

“To kick off our 90th anniversary as a firm with the Fortune Best Places to Work Award makes this a truly sweet beginning to 2014,” said Plante Moran managing partner Gordon Krater in a statement. Plante Moran had 978 staff when it first appeared on the Fortune list in 1999 and now has more than 2,000.

Among the Big Four, Deloitte ranked number 60 this year, beating PricewaterhouseCoopers at 65, Ernst & Young at 78 and KPMG at 80.

Accounting and tax software developer Intuit landed in 8th place. A number of financial services firms and banks also made the list, including Edward Jones in 4th place, Quicken Loans in 5th place, Goldman Sachs at number 45, and Capital One at 85. Accenture, once part of Arthur Andersen, landed at number 90.
