At this AICPA conference, officials from the Federal Reserve Board and the Financial Stability Board will explore issues such as the worldwide financial stability initiative and Basel III accords, while PCAOB staff will discuss audit inspection findings related to financial institutions and a FASB board member will provide an update on fair value measurements and disclosures, credit losses and leases and convergence efforts with IASB.

Other highlights include SEC, FDIC, OCC and Federal Reserve Board chief accountants discussing financial reporting regulations, and Fannie Mae's chief economist offering an economic forecast.

The conference takes place Monday, Sept. 12, to Wednesday, Sept. 14, at the Marriott Wardman Park in Washington, D.C. For more information, visit
