Digital CPA will feature presentations from bestselling business author Simon Sinek and tech strategist Geoffrey Moore.
The conference has become a hallmark event for CPA2Biz, the technology subsidiary of the American Institute of CPAs. With three integrated tracks, bringing together technology strategy, practice development and software training, Digital CPA is designed for progressive firms that embrace technology as a catalyst for growth.
Like last year, the opening day of Digital CPA will feature a mix of political and economic experts who will focus on the broader operating environment for firms and small business, with insight into how this will impact the profession in the coming year.
Day 2 will kick off with Sinek, the author of “Start With Why,” which examines how passion and the ability to inspire are often a better barometer of business success than a particular product or service. His 2009 TED talk has been a widely viewed video.
The final day of the conference will close with Moore, a consultant and author of a book on technology adoption, “Crossing the Chasm.” Moore’s ongoing work with the AICPA and CPA2Biz has deepened his working knowledge of the accounting profession. He will share key insights on the future of enterprise IT and its impact on accountants and their clients.
The event is being held Nov. 20-22 at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in Washington, D.C. For more information, visit www.digitalcpa.com.
