This Ohio Society of CPAs event lets auditors of all skill levels get first-hand news from nationally-known speakers on the issues that are critical to employee benefit plan audits.
Day 1 is an introductory workshop covering the unique audit requirements of all types of employee benefit plans; a review AICPA standards and EBSA regulations; and a discussion of contributions, distributions and participant data.
Day 2 is the EBPA Conference, which will offer a review the current regulatory environment with the U.S. Department of Labor; compliance issues and the remedies for them; how to use an actuary report in the audit of a defined benefit plan; and a discussion of the unique audit issues for welfare plans, ESOP, multi vs. multiple employer plans and 11Ks.
