Billed as "the essential experience for CAEs," the IIA GAM 2011 conference will bring together more than 700 chief audit executives , audit directors, and audit leaders to network and discuss critical industry issues such as the changing role of internal audit, combating fraud and internal audit’s relationship with the business.

Steve Biskie's session on Monday, March 14, titled, "Best Practices in the Use of Analytics," will address the evolution of audit organizations as they mature in their use of analytics. Using real-world case studies, Biskie will look at the people, process and technology elements of strategic audit organizations and highlight the pitfalls to be avoided. Attendees will also learn how a robust analytic strategy can help with issues such as U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act compliance, risk management and fraud detection.
