The American Women's Society of CPAs is holding its annual conference, featuring former FASB chair Leslie Seidman.

In addition to Seidman, the AWSCPA conference features Greg Hagarty, the FBI case agent who was in charge of the Madoff investigation; Steve Parrish, a Forbes contributor; Cynthia Hetherington, an ACFE presenter of the year recipient and a big name in social media investigations; Jay Wein, recently retired IRS appeals case leader; Mark Luscombe of CCH talking about DOMA expert; and Jennifer Schwartz of Washington State University discussing patterns in women's and men's involvement in 21st century corporate financial fraud. Danielle Supkis-Cheek, a CPA in Houston, is chairing this year's conference.
The conference also features a two-hour excerpt from the AICPA’s PCPS Trusted Business Advisors program, plus many more sessions.
