Moving in New Directions

Recently, the Pacesetters have begun to usher in one of the larger evolutions in the sector— prompted by the sluggish economy and the onset of new technology platforms — by offering expanded product lines including cloud or hosted solutions and, in some instances, providing more consulting services than traditional software reselling.For some of our 2011 Technology Pacesetters, offering cloud products or hosting software is opening up more doors, and they see it as a large future revenue stream.

Tribridge

Tribridge, based in Tampa, Fla., generated the most revenue by far among the 2011 Pacesetters, with $65 million. The firm, with a staff of over 300 led by chairman and CEO Tony DiBenedetto (pictured), specializes in Microsoft products including Dynamics GP, AX, SL and NAV

Net@Work

Net@Work, based in New York City, pulled in $27 million in revenue. The 147-member firm, under the leadership of Alex and Ed Solomon, specializes in Sage products such as MAS 90, 200 and 500, along with Accpac Pro and Sage X3.

Wipfli

Wipfli, based in Wausau, Wis., earned $25 million. Managing partner Rick Dreher leads the 157-member staff. They specialize in Sage's MIP Fund Accounting and Peachtree; Microsoft Dynamics GP and AX; and Intuit's QuickBooks.

Blytheco

Blytheco, based in Laguna Hills, Calif., earned $22.4 million in revenue. The firm, led by CEO and namesake Stephen Blythe, has 116 staff and specializes in Sage products such as MAS 90, 200, and 500, along with BusinessWorks, X3, FAS and MIP Fund Accounting.

Sikich

Sikich, headquartered in Aurora, Ill., pulled in $22 million. Jeff Rudolph, the partner-in-charge of technology at the firm, which is led by CEO Jim Skiich, has a staff of 100. They focus on Microsoft Dynamics GP, NAV and SL; along with SAP Business ByDesign and Epicor.

I.B.I.S.

I.B.I.S., based in Norcross, Ga., realized $17 million in annual revenue. The staff of 77, helmed by CEO Andy Vabulas, handles Microsoft Dynamics AX and GP.

Columbus, Ohio-based Socius earned $16.6 million annually. The 81-member staff, led by Jeffrey Geisler, specializes in Microsoft Dynamics GP, AX, SL and NAV; Sage MAS 90, 200 and 500; and Syspro.

Infinity Info Systems

Infinity Info Systems, led by CEO Yakov Wrocherinsky, is based in New York. The firm earned $14.5 million and has a staff of 75. It handles integrations with Microsoft Dynamics GP and AX, Sage MAS 500, and SAP ERP.

InterDyn BMI, based in Houston, towed in $14.5 million. while InterDyn AKA, headquartered in New York, saw $11 million in annual revenue. InterDyn BMI is headed by CEO John Hendrickson, while InterDyn AKA is helmed by managing partners and co-CEOs Alan Kahn (pictured) and Jack Ades. InterDyn BMI's 65-member staff handles Microsoft Dynamics GP and AX; and Open Systems OSAS and Traverse. InterDyn AKA's 45 staff members focus on Dynamics GP and AX.
