Armanino, San Ramon, recently completed a record-setting Great Give day of service, bringing out the largest number of volunteers in program history in its ninth year and expanding its geographic reach. INDIANA

Sikich was named one of the best places to work in Indiana by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce for the fifth consecutive year, ranking sixth in the large employer category.

KENTUCKY

McDermott & Miller, Kearney, is changing its name to KSO CPAs + Advisors, which will not affect the firm’s staff of 20 or clients, the firm stated. The only change will be to its name.

NEW YORK

The New York State Society of CPAs, Rochester, is holding a Millennial Summit titled Learn How to Start Understanding the Millennial Mindset and Engage High Potential Talent June 22 from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Monroe Golf Club, 155 Golf Avenue, in Pittsford, N.Y. The cost to attend the meeting, composed of three TED-style talks, is $40 for NYSSCPA members and $75 for non-members. Additionally, NYSSCPA announced the relaunch of CPAJournal.com, an 85-plus-year-old accounting and financial website that was once limited to NYSSCPA members or subscribers but is now open to all online users.
