CONNECTICUT

BlumShapiro Consulting, West Hartford, a division of BlumShapiro, formed a strategic partnership with Hypefish to offer clients the software company’s solution, which uses AI and bot technology to automate the collection of profile information.

FLORIDA

WithumSmith+Brown relocated 110 team members from its East Concord Street and Altamonte Springs locations to Orlando, at 200 South Orange Ave. The relocation comes after a sustainable build-out of the new 19,530-square-foot office space by incorporating recycled content and diverting 15,589 pounds of construction waste from landfills. Withum is located on the 12th floor of the office tower, also known as the SunTrust Center.

FRANCE

The Strego Group was admitted as a member firm of global network Baker Tilly International and, as a result, existing member Baker Tilly France will leave the network on March 31, 2018.

Baker Tilly France, soon to be rebranded as Walter France, joined member association Allinial Global. Baker Tilly France is in the process of completing its withdrawal from Baker Tilly International.

WithumSmith+Brown, Princeton, announced the seven employee recipients of the firm’s annual Strength Awards, a peer-nominated recognition program honoring staff members who embody Withum’s core values. The recipients were recognized at the firm’s annual State of the Firm meeting. The recipients are: Val Orekhov, chief technology officer, of the Frederick S. Withum Outstanding Achievement Award; Jessica Giresi, senior manager in the forensic and valuation services group, of the Leonard H. Smith Strength of Client Service Award; Vicki Beirne, office manager of the East Brunswick location, of the Withum Administrative Strength Award; Robert Ghanem, a member of the corporate value consulting team, of the Withum Innovative Strength Award; Matt Basilo, interactive marketing manager, of the Withum Community Strength Award; Anurag Sharma, principal of the cybersecurity consulting practice and Service Organization Control practice, with the Withum Marketing Strength Award; and Jennifer Safeer, chief financial officer, with the Ivan C. Brown Withum Way Award.
