Henry+Horne employees volunteered at The Phoenix Dream Center, an organization helping victims of human trafficking by providing addiction recovery programs and more. The firm’s team worked together to clean three rooms designated for short-term volunteer stays.

Rosen, Sapperstein & Friedlander, Towson, is celebrating 40 years of business in 2019, having been founded in 1979 by Howard Rosen and Lou Sapperstein.

MISSOURI

MarskNelson, Kansas City, closed it offices on June 20 so all employees could volunteer at nonprofits across the city. During this year’s Volunteer Day, part of the firm’s Marks of Kindness program, employees contributed their time to 13 charities, ranging from homeless shelters to food pantries, where they also donated food.

The New Jersey Society of CPAs has moved its office within Roseland to 105 Eisenhower Parkway, Suite 300, a space (pictured) which will provide a larger and more advanced educational learning center along with better amenities.

The Bonadio Group, Rochester, added a “ReviewTube” series of videos to the "Careers" section of the firm website, which features firm employees answering some of the most commonly asked questions candidates have during the interview process.

Marks Paneth celebrated the opening of its newest office location in Philadelphia with a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house for clients, colleagues and city officials. The office is located at One Commerce Square, 2005 Market Street, in the city’s central business district.

UNITED KINGDOM

Lord Alistair Darling, former U.K. Finance Minister, was appointed to the Board of Trustees of the International Valuation Standards Council, London.
