Dane Dickler was hired as a tax partner in the personal wealth advisors group at EisnerAmper, New York. Additionally, Robert Katz, managing director in the firm’s bankruptcy and restructuring group in Philadelphia, was named “Distressed M&A Dealmaker of the Year” by The M&A Advisor. The awards will be presented during the 12th Annual Turnaround Awards Gala at the 2018 M&A Advisor Distressed Investing Summit on March 21 in Palm Beach, Fla.

Warren Zafrin was hired as a partner and leader of the risk advisory services group, and Lauren Jarvis was hired as principal in the group, at UHY Advisors, New York.

Victoria Abramov and Terence Avella were admitted to the partnership at Berdon, New York.

John Tax was hired as a partner in the New York office of Friedman.

CohnReznick, New York, announced several hires and promotions in the transactional advisory practice: Helana Robbins Huddleston in Chicago, Natalie Tronkina in Los Angeles and Sedic Ampanas in New York were promoted to managing director; Jeffrey Michelson was hired as a managing director in New York; and Hayk Galstyan was promoted to manager in Los Angeles.

Mason Barringer, senior accountant at DMJ, Greensboro, was awarded the Certified Fraud Examiner credential by the Association of the Certified Fraud Examiners.

Jeff Outten was hired as director of change management at Dixon Hughes Goodman, Charlotte, where he will lead the implementation and evolution of DHG’s newly established Change Hub.

Carlini CPA partner Jeffrey Carlini was chosen as an "Endorsed Local Provider" for taxes in the South Charlotte metro region of North Carolina by Dave Ramsey, a radio personality and author who has a network of ELPs he refers his listeners to.

Rick Clifford is rejoining the business tax services – accounting methods and credit services practice at KPMG, Raleigh.

Ross Manson, principal at Eide Bailly and previously partner-in-charge at the firm’s Fargo office, was named the firm’s first chief innovation officer. In that role, Manson will be responsible for fostering a culture of innovation, increasing awareness of how business is dramatically changing, developing a digital strategy, improving internal processes, and assessing new technology tools. Eide Bailly partner Chad Flanagan will assume the Fargo partner-in-charge role.
