The IRS announced that one of its filing pages for nonprofits will be closed for maintenance over the next few weeks.

The Annual Electronic Filing Requirement for Small Exempt Organizations — Form 990-N (e-Postcard) page will be out of service from Dec. 26, 2016, at 11:59 a.m. to Jan. 6, 2017, at 1 p.m. EST, in order to complete annual planned maintenance, the service said.

Most small tax-exempt organizations with annual gross receipts that are normally $50,000 or less can satisfy their annual reporting requirement by e-submitting a Form 990-N if they choose not to file a 990 or 990-EZ instead.
