ADP Offers Employee Money Management Tools

Payroll giant ADP has introduced myAline, online and mobile financial management technology to give employees visibility, information and access to help them better manage their money and make more informed spending decisions.

The software tool is available to employees who receive their wages through Aline Pay by ADP and whose employers are ADP SmartCompliance clients. The tool offers self-service options to help employers encourage more electronic pay adoption and streamline payroll management.

Accessible both online and through mobile devices, the software helps employees better understand how, when and where they’re spending their money. In addition, myAline enables employees to proactively manage their tax and related payroll information.

The tool provides information about wage payments and use, including transaction-level data, category-specific spend analysis and historical payroll information to help employees better understand their financial habits. The software can also help employees with multiple jobs manage their pay with multiple employers.

Where it’s made available by employers, myAline is accessible through the ADP Mobile Solutions App on devices running iOS and Android operating systems, giving employees on-the-go access to their wage information through their smartphones. Later this summer, employees will also have the ability to enroll in an Aline Card through the mobile app.

For employers, myAline helps with the transition to 100 percent electronic pay by offering employee self-service options, such as the ability for employees to update their direct deposit accounts, enroll in an Aline Card by ADP, adjust withholdings and access individual pay period and end-of-year statements, making it possible for employers to reduce wage-related inquiries from employees.

“ADP has a long history of providing both employers and employees with the tools they need to help support the transition to electronic pay and to help better manage wage payments as a whole,” said Gary Lott, division vice president and general manager of wage payments at ADP Added Value Services.
