Business productivity software developer Abukai Inc. is partnering with expense report automation service Insperity Expense Management to provide enhanced mobile receipt scanning technology for Insperity ExpensAble Corporate customers.

The technology will use the Abukai Expenses mobile receipt scanner application, which allows users to take photos of their receipts with their smart phone. Abukai can then automatically extract information from the receipt and create the expense line items for the user within Insperity ExpensAble Corporate.

Users can download Abukai Expenses from the Android Market, Apple App Store or BlackBerry App World, and link it to the Insperity ExpensAble Corporate platform. Expenses will appear as draft expense report line items once Abukai has processed the receipts.

“We’re very excited to announce this relationship with a premier organization such as Insperity Expense Management," said Abukai president and chief executive Philipp Schloter. "It is a great example of how Abukai Expenses can work with other systems. Insperity customers can now directly feed their business expenses into the ExpensAble Corporate platform with the Abukai Expenses mobile application. Expenses are automatically categorized by Abukai based on the chart of accounts configured in the ExpensAble platform.”
