October 4, 2012

Accounting Today is once again accepting submissions for our Accountant of the Month contest!

We've had a pit crew member who moonlights as a donkey farmer (or vice versa), a dedicated Anachronist, and a hard-core mountain climber and adrenaline junkie -- and we think you should be next. Visit our Facebook page to submit your photo and story proving that accountants aren't boring.

Then, spread the word to make sure all your friends and colleagues come vote for you once the voting period begins after we close for submissions on October 17.

Voting will last for 10 days, narrowing the contestants down to five favorites, from whom the editors of Accounting Today will choose the next Accountant of the Month.

Didn't get your submission in this month? Don't worry—we'll be starting up another AotM contest at the start of next month.

And if you submitted before, go ahead and submit again—you're just as interesting now as you were then!
