Regional Leader BeachFleischman PC and Phoenix-based CPA firm Taylor, Duffy & Associates PC have merged, effective January 1.

The combined firms will practice under the BeachFleischman name. Taylor Duffy's employees, including four principals and seven staff, will join the BeachFleischman Phoenix practice, which was established just last February and which will relocate to Taylor Duffy's offices. The firm will now have a head count of 18 in Phoenix, and 130 total staff.

"Our firms are very similar. From firm culture to client service philosophy, we share many attributes and core values. It made perfect sense for us to unite our firms," said BeachFleischman CEO Bruce Beach, CPA.  "From a practice perspective, Taylor Duffy provides clients in the construction sector with a level of industry expertise that goes unmatched by firms in the Southwest."

Taylor Duffy founder and principal Phillip Taylor, CPA, who will serve as managing shareholder of the firm's combined Phoenix operation, said, "The merger enables us to provide clients with the depth of services and expertise of a large regional firm, with the service-minded approach our clients would expect from a local firm. It's really the best of both worlds."

BeachFleischman is headquartered in Tucson.
