BigTime Releases Time & Billing App for Android

BigTime Software has adapted its BigTime Mobile time and billing app for Google Android devices after introducing a version last year for Apple’s iPhone.

The app offers time tracking and expense entry on the go, along with real-time project information. The iPhone version of BigTime Mobile was recently named a “2014 Awesome Application” at the 10th Annual Accounting Solutions Conference by The Sleeter Group.

The app integrates with QuickBooks and enables small and midsize professional services firms in the accounting, engineering, architecture and IT services industries to go beyond basic time and expense tracking to access higher-level practice management capabilities.

Users can track time online and offline, and get customizable daily and weekly views. They can submit timesheets from the app and link directly to QuickBooks.

The app offers a mail-like expense entry interface and is able to log reimbursable expenses online or offline. Users can upload Android photos of receipts; track costs by project, task, type and more; auto sync with the Web for backups; and submit expenses in the app and link to QuickBooks.

The app provides one-tap access to clients and staff. Users can call, text or email their clients right from the app. The app also offers offline access to customer contact information and syncs with a user’s existing BigTime account. It also provides an overview of job and client data.

The BigTime Mobile app for Android is available on the Google Play store. It is free to current subscribers of BigTime’s streamlined time management product, BigTime Express.

BigTime Software also plans to release an Android app compatible with BigTime IQ, the company’s upcoming premium product that will bring together advanced time and expense tracking, engagement management, and invoicing capabilities in a single package.
