Bloomberg BNA Partners with Tax Materials

Bloomberg BNA has begun a joint initiative with Tax Materials Inc., the producers of the tax reference book series TheTaxBook, to include content from TheTaxBook in Tax Prep Guides that will be offered as part of Bloomberg BNA’s Tax Practice Series.

“The series provides quick answers and practical analysis to address day-to-day matters and tax forms, compliance and productivity tools specifically designed to maximize productivity during the tax season," said at Bloomberg BNA executive editor of tax and accounting George Farrah in a statement.

Bloomberg BNA’s Tax Practice Series covers topics such as individual, corporate and partnership taxation, along with compensation planning, exempt organizations and foreign taxation. TheTaxBook will provide in-depth coverage in a practical format, such as line-by-line guidance for use when preparing returns for corporations, small businesses and individuals. The contributors to TheTaxBook are tax practitioners familiar with the issues that cause preparers to spend valuable time searching for answers.

“TheTaxBook includes comments explaining gray areas in tax law, quick direction and cross references that point the reader to related line-by-line instructions and IRS publications," said Tax Materials senior vice president Joe Meyer.

Practitioners who purchase The Tax Prep Guides as part of the Tax Practice Series from Bloomberg BNA online will also receive a print copy of TheTaxBook Deluxe Edition, which includes information on IRS forms and schedules, along with small business information.
