Boyer to Merge with Greenstein Rogoff Olsen

Danville, Calif. (August 12, 2009)

Bay Area accounting firms Greenstein Rogoff Olsen & Co. and Ronald G. Boyer Accountancy Corp., plan to merge on August 14.

Boyer and his four-person team from Walnut Creek, Calif., will join GROCO in the firm’s Danville, Calif., office, doubling the size of that location.

“We are growing in this challenging time to ensure our clients have access to a wide range of financial expertise to help manage and protect their wealth,” said GROCO managing partner Alan Olsen in a statement.

“Merging with GROCO opens up many opportunities for both our clients and employees,” said Boyer.

Boyer has more than 30 years of experience in estate, fiduciary, business and individual taxation. As both a CPA and Certified Valuation Analyst, he provides tax and consulting services to individuals and businesses involved in mergers, acquisitions, estate and financial planning, trust and court accounting, and business valuations. He also serves as an expert witness in litigation pertaining to tax issues and lost income measurements.
