CCH Enhances Engagement and Knowledge Coach

CCH has made several improvements to its ProSystem fx Engagement and Knowledge Coach products, designed to make it easier for audit professionals to monitor and report trial balance activity on multiple funds while ensuring compliance.

The Wolters Kluwer business has also added optional support from Accounting Research Manager, ProSystem fx Tax and the IntelliConnect research platform to provide for workflow efficiency without interruptions.

The newest version of Engagement now offers a new type of trial balance for working with funds – providing for efficient fund setup along with fund types and subtypes. This enhancement enables users to more easily define a broader view of all fund balances, which can be reviewed in the fund trial balance and fund trial balance reports.

Other new Engagement features include a chart of accounts dialog; enhanced binder synchronization; one-click sign-off of Workpapers; and the ability to work with the most up-to-date applications and tools.

New Knowledge Coach features include support for multiple audit programs; the ability to synchronize a Knowledge Coach workpaper without any team member closing the binder; better tracking when refreshing workpaper; added tailoring for non-complex engagements; and materiality and sampling forms are now included in the information flow and roll-forward capabilities of Knowledge Coach.

“Partnering with our customers and listening to their feedback has always been a priority in building new solution functionality that makes their jobs easier,” said CCH product line manager of Accounting & Audit Solutions Cathy Wright. “Our latest Engagement and Knowledge Coach solutions are direct results of what customers told us they needed to better execute government and non-profit audits, as well as less complex engagements of all sizes, throughout the year.”
